چکیده

In this paper we present an analytic filtered-backpropagation inversion method for radar imaging when the transmitters and receivers are moving along independent flight paths. The flight paths are arbitrary, but assumed known. We assume a singlescattering model for the radar data, and we assume that the ground topography is known. We assume, in addition, that the receiver can correctly associate the data with the right transmitter.

Spatial, Temporal, and Spectral Aspects of Far-Field Radar Data

We develop a linearized imaging theory that combines the spatial, temporal, and spectral aspects of scattered waves. We consider the case of fixed, distributed transmitters and receivers, and a general distribution of objects, each undergoing linear motion; thus the theory deals with imaging distributions in phase space. We derive a model for the data that is appropriate for any waveform, and s...

Sparse MIMO Array GPR Based on Compressed Sensing

MIMO array can obtain much more equivalent elements by using a small number of transmitters and receivers. However, according to traditional sampling theorem, a certain number of transmitters and receivers are still needed to obtain a dense equivalent array. Since the interesting targets of ground penetrating radar (GPR) are usually sparse, this paper presents a spare MIMO array GPR imaging sch...

Passive imaging of moving targets exploiting multiple scattering using sparse distributed apertures

We present a new passive imaging method for moving targets using a sparse array of receivers and illumination sources of opportunity operating in multiplescattering environments. We assume that the receivers are spatially distributed in an arbitrary fashion and the illumination sources of opportunity are noncooperative where the locations of the transmitters and transmitted waveforms are unknow...

Compressive inverse scattering using ultrashort pulses

Inverse scattering refers the retrieval of the unknown constitutive parameters from measured scattered wave fields, and has many applications such as ultrasound imaging, optics, T-ray imaging, radar, and etc. Two distinct imaging strategies have been commonly used: narrow band inverse scattering approaches using a large number of transmitters and receivers, or wideband imaging approaches with s...

Adaptive Based Multiobjective Optimization Based Node Placement and Target Detection in Bistatic Radar Network

A bistatic radar network that consists of multiple separated radar transmitters (TXs) and receivers (RXs), aiming to detect a target on a set of points of interest (PoIs) is considered. The detection range of a bistatic radar depends on both locations of the TX and RX. The design of the bistatic radar network is investigated by studying the problem of optimally placing a number of radar transmi...
